With it’s very low step over height the Tailwind 806 is ideal for a shorter, however the huge adjustment range on the seat post and handlebar stem means the bike can easily be adjusted for the comfort of taller riders. Suitable for riders between 4’6″ and 6’6″!

Wisper Tailwind 806 Encore Folding Electric Bike
Built on the DNA of our award-winning Traditional 806, the Tailwind 806 is now more versatile and capable than ever before. The Tailwind 806 is a superbly adaptable folding electric light cargo bike. With a redesigned rear rack and optional front rack, the cargo capacity of the new 806 has grown exponentially. The rear rack has been specifically designed to hold panniers, baskets, and child seats. The bike now features bottle cage mounts that can hold either a traditional bottle cage or the wide variety of accessories such as locks that use these mounts.
Available in either cadence option (Tailwind 806) or Torque + Cadence option (Tailwind 806 Encore), two battery sizes, three colours, and the off-road Venture pack. The Tailwind 806 micro cargo platform can be customised for any rider’s needs.

Full Throttle Range
Using your Wisper bike on throttle only will reduce your range by up to 30% and the TTP will not help increase range whilst you are using the throttle only. If your bike has been upgraded so it works on the throttle only, we still suggest pedalling when you are able to do so. Use the throttle only function when you need to rest or to help you pull away when setting off.

Our standard Returns Policy provides 30 days to return or exchange an eligible item. Items must be in as-new condition with tags, original packaging and proof of purchase. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
Any orders cancelled after 12 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.

Electric Vehicle Legal Guide
There are laws surrounding the use of electric bikes and e-scooters in the UK.
Below is a clear and simple summary of the laws, so that you know how to use your electric bike/scooter safely and legally.
Electric Bikes
- DO NOT require a license
- DO NOT require insurance or registration
- Riders must be a minimum of 14 years old
- Helmets are not mandatory
- On public roads, motors should be limited to 250W
- On public roads, ebikes must be powered by pedal assist and not a throttle
- On public roads, the top speed should be limited to 25 km/h
The limit to the motor on public roads is 250W, some e bikes have settings that exceed this limit which are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission. The assisted speed limit for e-bikes on the road is 15.5mph.
Electric Scooters
Under current UK law, privately owned electric scooters are illegal to ride on public roads. They are only to be used on private land with the landowners permission.
