Convenient and reliable: Payment by debit from your credit card (VISA or MasterCard). You enter your credit card number, validity and verification number, and we will transmit the data using secure encryption.

If your credit card is unlocked for 3D-Secure, you will be forwarded to the security questionnaire for your bank. A few seconds later your order can be processed. The amount will be debited only upon dispatch of the goods.

2 - PAYPAL

With PayPal you can pay easily, speedily and securely. Use your PayPal account and pay conveniently for your order with us.

We receive a payment confirmation immediately from PayPal and will be able to process your order straight away. For you, payment via PayPal is always free - Pedal & Chain pays the processing fees.

3 - KLARNA

With Klarna, you can Buy Now and Pay Later. Select Klarna at checkout and you will have the option to order now and pay in 30 days.

Is your employer signed up to a cycle to work scheme or are they willing to join?

Do you have a voucher already?

If you already have a cycle to work voucher (aka certificate or letter of collection), simply email it across to us at info@pedalandchain.co.uk .

We will redeem your certificate and then arrange the delivery of your new electric bike. We will also walk you through the easy process and provide you with tracking information when your bike has been dispatched.

Signed up to a scheme but no voucher?

Simply ask your employer to use their cycle to work scheme and submit your quote which will be the value of the bike that you want.

They will be able to arrange a voucher for you which you can then email across to us in exchange for your new electric bike!

There are laws surrounding the use of electric bikes and e-scooters in the UK.

Below is a clear and simple summary of the laws, so that you know how to use your electric bike/scooter safely and legally.

Electric Bikes

• DO NOT require a license
• DO NOT require insurance or registration
• Riders must be a minimum of 14 years old
• Helmets are not mandatory
• On public roads, motors should be limited to 250W
• On public roads, ebikes must be powered by pedal assist and not a throttle
• On public roads, the top speed should be limited to 25 km/h

The limit to the motor on public roads is 250W, some e bikes have settings that exceed this limit which are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission. The assisted speed limit for e-bikes on the road is 15.5mph.

Electric Scooters

Under current UK law, privately owned electric scooters are illegal to ride on public roads. They are only to be used on private land with the landowners permission.
