The RooDog Chic is a compact, comfortable step-through electric bike designed especially for riders who prefer a smaller frame and easy access. Its 16.5-inch lightweight aluminium frame is RooDog’s smallest and lowest step-through design, recommended for riders approximately 5'0" to 5'10".
A 250W rear hub motor and 36V 10Ah battery provide five levels of pedal assistance and a stated range of 30+ miles per charge, with a battery upgrade available for 40+ miles. Shimano 7-speed gears, front suspension and front and rear LED lights add everyday practicality.
Comfort is a particular strength, with a cushioned gel saddle and adjustable handlebar stem helping riders find a comfortable position. The bike can also accommodate a wicker basket and pannier bags for carrying everyday essentials.

The RooDog Chic is a very stylish, easy and comfortable to ride, low step through city ebike. The Chic comes in vintage pearl white, glossy black and electric blue – all are simply stunning.

All parts are covered by the warranty and are guaranteed for a period of 12 months which includes:

- Warranty cover can be extended, free of charge, to 24 months on completion of the warranty registration form – click “Register My Bike”.
Requirements for warranty:
- Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase as this is your warranty and warranty will start from the date of purchase.
- Warranty is non-transferable and only applies to original owner.
- Warranty covers – main bike frame, front forks, mud guards, wheel rims, gears, bearings, motor casing and hub motor, LED controller display, brakes (excluding brake pads), battery and charger.
Items not covered:
Brake pads, tyres, lights and cables or anything else that can be seen as consumables or general wear and tear of such items. These parts can however be purchased from RooDog Ltd or from your local retailer/bike shop.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
Any orders cancelled after 12 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.

Electric Vehicle Legal Guide
There are laws surrounding the use of electric bikes and e-scooters in the UK.
Below is a clear and simple summary of the laws, so that you know how to use your electric bike/scooter safely and legally.
Electric Bikes
- DO NOT require a license
- DO NOT require insurance or registration
- Riders must be a minimum of 14 years old
- Helmets are not mandatory
- On public roads, motors should be limited to 250W
- On public roads, ebikes must be powered by pedal assist and not a throttle
- On public roads, the top speed should be limited to 25 km/h
The limit to the motor on public roads is 250W, some e bikes have settings that exceed this limit which are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission. The assisted speed limit for e-bikes on the road is 15.5mph.
Electric Scooters
Under current UK law, privately owned electric scooters are illegal to ride on public roads. They are only to be used on private land with the landowners permission.
